If they are cowards, they are also FOOLS! Why? Because **NOW** is the time to confront evil because in the end the fascist oligarchy will carry out their threats, steal their money, and throw them off the air anyway!
If these phonies and cowards can't defend the Constitution ( ALL of it!) when all they face is a little ridicule from the mainstream media, there is NO POSSIBLE WAY they will defend it with tanks in the streets, jack boots at the door, and gas ovens at the concentration camps going full-blast!

You and I know the hierarchies of Fox and Clear Channel have told them to leave it alone and I’m sure they have a contractural obligation to follow orders.
Those guys have been excellent in so many ways over the years that I don’t have it in me to condemn them for clamming up about something that sounds screwy to the average person to begin with and is certainly not something that the broadcasting powers that be want touched.
There are lots of rumors around about threats of license removal, imposition of “localism,” and revival of the Fairness Doctrine made by the WH and the FCC. Business is business, so I’m sure they made an informed business decision that it wasn’t worth it.
This thing is OUR baby — the blogosphere’s, 100%.
BTW, Rush has given little hints that he has his doubts about Obozo’s origins. Savage and Cunningham have been overt about it. Hannity literally has zipped his lips. Buttbuddies Beck and O’Reilly seem to have made a pack to be as snide and sneerily obnoxious about “birthers” as possible.

In this Aug07 2009 interview with Lori Roth, Douglas Hagman claims that an unnamed talkshow host received threats from the Obama Administration and was ordered to suppress any discussions regarding his place of birth and citizenship status.
