This whole idea just makes me sick.

For a mosque to be built there is the same to me as planting the flag of your country on land taken after a battle. It’s a sign of victory.

I’ll never forget watching on live television those poor, innocent souls jumping out of the windows to their deaths below to avoid a more hellish death from the flames.

A mosque built there would be a monument of tribute to the same bastards who killed thousands of people just going to work to try and make a living for themselves.

The traitor politicians who support this need to be voted out and be handed shovels to dig for a monument to the victims, and the brave cops, firefighters, first aid people, and the volunteers who gave their lives to save others.

The ROP loves to build a mosque right on the site of a 'conquest'. The Dome of the Rock - a coincidence? No, of course not. Look at the Temple of Karnak in Egypt with a mosque built right inside it, Coincidence? No, of course not. It is important to understand Islamic thinking. A mosque at Ground Zero would be a permanent middle finger raised to New York and America.

Those who do not understand this are either extremely stupid or craven cowards. Some groups - politicians - can be both at the same time. Ask yourself "Why are churches, cathedrals and synagogues NOT ALLOWED in Saudi Arabia" (and it is not because our beloved allie, the Saudis might be offended).

I’ve held the opinion (for what its worth) that the Twin Towers should have been rebuilt immediately and made taller by ten stories or so. A kind of in-your-face type approach.

Imagine the outrage if some neo-Nazi group wanted to build a memorial to the SS next to the Holocaust Museum or Japanese militarists proposed building a war memorial at Pearl Harbor? Building a mosque at the site of the 9-11 attacks would be equally obscene.

Should this mosque be built I would expect that it would routinely be defiled. If there were a fire in the mosque I would not expect NY Firefighters to be in any hurry to get there nor to risk their lives to save it.
