Yes, I have. He's pretty much a libertarian open-borders type. While I like a lot of his positions that's a show-stopper for me, so I won't be supporting him.
Which is kind of my point. I was intrigued by him, and unlike Palin he has been doing a lot of policy speeches and presenting his opinions on the issues. After a little bit of exposure to his platform, I saw I couldn't support him.
Palin seems to be running a no-issue campaign so far. And when she is occassionally cornered and forced to cough up an answer, she seems to be more or less a neo-con.
When you say neo-con, what does that mean?
I think the economy is a pretty big issue and she’s positioning herself with a Reaganesque message on taxes, smaller government, a strong defense and a pro-life stance.
I think she’s still persuadable on some of her immigration position and so I’m hopeful she’ll come around and then be forceful on it.
