I was just asking people why they think Palin could win and didn't get any convincing answers, but this is the first serious examination of the potential race. I'm not interested in the cheering of her fans, I'm interested in the examination of potential moves and responses, and this piece does that.

I don't know how much of a favorite son Romney is considered. I'm in Massachusetts, and I don't detect the love for him some outside the state seem to see.

Obama's thin skin could be his undoing. McCain was so obsequious, as if he was afraid of upsetting St. Obama. I can see Palin getting solid points across and not being seen as bitchy, but in contrast, Obama could very easily be seen as his whiney, bitchy self in response.

Good article. My enthusiasm level has ticked up a little bit.

I’m from there, have a wicked lot of family there, still...you couldn’t get anyone they or I know to vote for him at gunpoint.
