Desperate times calls for desperate reporters I suppose. Check this headline out blaring across the LA Times....a DEMOCRAT wins a DEMOCRAT primary.

Woo-hoo! Time to celebrate you Dem's: (h/t Ace)

Democrats hail election results as breakthrough A key primary win in Colorado and victories by 'tea party'-backed GOP candidates amount to 'nothing but good news' for the party, the White House
~~~
The White House and national Democrats were quick to celebrate Wednesday what they saw as a breakthrough in an otherwise bleak political year, with President Obama's preferred candidate winning a key primary test in Colorado and Republican voters choosing "tea party"-backed insurgents over the GOP's recruited candidates. "Last night's elections … were nothing but good news for the Democratic Party," White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said.
No bias there eh? Now the tea-party folks are "insurgents."
But anyways...I guess they are celebrating because at least one candidate that Obama backed won.
Time for the “insurgents” to cause a political “human made disaster” for the Democrat party.
The Democratic juggernaut is starting to roll with force and winning Democratic primary after Democratic primary. I'm no genius but I predict that the Democrats win every single Democratic primary!
Don’t be disingenuous.
Their point is the Obama backed candidate won, and that the “company” GOP candidate lost to a tea party guy.
Sure there’s some spin there, but less so than in the title of this post.
From the article:
"There's been a lot of talk about energy on the right, and that might be true," Democratic National Committee spokesman Hari Sevugan said. "[But] what the tea party takeover of the Republican Party has done is produce a slate of deeply flawed candidates."
Flawed candidates? I call Bovine Scatology!
The 'tea partiers' were voting in the GOP primary, that is why Bennet survived.
The voter turnout strongly favors the GOP, so Bennet's days are numbered.
Those who want to shrink government, end amoral corruption and expand the Conservative Principles that made this country great, which also inspired Liberty and freedom; Somehow, equals a “deeply flawed candidate”.
Simply astounding.
All I can say is that something HUGE better happen on this coming election day. The future of America depends on a Conservative revolution at the ballot box, plain and simple.
I know even that will be downplayed by the liberal media, but it won't really matter at that point. What will matter is what happens in the halls of Congress after the GOP takes over. I only hope that they don't drop the ball and fall all over themselves in the name of 'bipartisanship' the way they did '94 - '06. I can't handle another GOP let down like that.
Hopefully this year's slate of "flawed" GOP candidates really will be the most Conservative, freedom loving, Constitutionally abiding group of individuals we have ever seen. That is the only way we are going to be able to get even the smallest piece back of what our Great Nation once was.
America has been attacked many times, and suffered crisis after crisis, and yet she has repelled the enemy over and over. The only problem is, this time the enemy is within, and it's called the Democrat Party. These people, led by Barack Hussein Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi stand against every single principle that guided the founding of this Nation and will work tirelessly to destroy the very foundations of freedom.
That MUST change with the 2010 & 2012 elections.
Politico had the same spin yesterday — it was “good news” all around for the Democrats that the “Tea Party” backed candidates were winning in Republican primaries. I take that with a large grain of salt, as neither Politico nor the Democrat operatives quoted here are in the business of helping Republicans get elected .... surely if they’re concerned that the current slate of Rep. candidates is “deeply flawed”, that’s got to be good news for conservatives, and the Republic.
That said, I think that it’s become clear that the Republic hasn’t faced a peril this great since 1860, and that liberty is probably in greater danger than at any time since 1776, if ever. It’s clearly time to roll up our sleeves and get to work, but to have a eye on a plan B should Republican incompetence, or Democrat fraud allow the socialists to carry the day.
