I understand that. If Glenn thought he was still the most deserving of that honor, it was appropriate for him to be named. Based on his conversations and interviews with him in the past, I agree that he was the right choice. And it was appropriate that the woman who accepted the medal for him was a former patient of the Huntsman Center.

Beck did some good work on exposing issues, but you are exactly right - he is no historian. I want to trust what he says but he has been way off on soe things - especially when dealing with Mormon influenced history.

I recall Glenn Beck clearly said that those awards would be given to ordinary Americans. I believe that those selected for those awards should have instead come from THE PEOPLE, regular rank and file Americans who I am convinced are the strong and great backbone of America, rather than a predictable very few who might easily be considered as part of the ruling elite.
