I think that if you stand an American male next to a European variety, the American is definitely all man. The team sport preference is because Americans are a social people by nature and inclination; to them most athletes who are individual competitors are not masculine. They are either "fruity" looking in stretch pants and helmets, or ego maniacs like tennis players. Opinion, dahling, opinion.

Opinion, dahling, opinion. Yes, as I get older, I seem to have more of them.

LOL - you made me laugh.
I gotta be honest. I probably post more than the average Freeper, but much less than the real go-getters around here. In fact, often what I post is a lot like the post you did. I’ll make this little joke that really makes ME laugh. And I just KNOW it’s hilarious. But I get no credit. Well, you sir, deserve a hearty pat on the back for your contribution, if only to make another fellow forum member chuckle.

I didn’t know we ever had any interest.

Just as a good stick in billiards is a sign of a misspent youth, an abundance of overly witty infra dig posts on Freep is a symbol of too much fun in old age.
Seeya!
