Kas, playing tennis takes far too much effort for your average obese adult WalMart American of these times. All that running. All that sweating. And it has really complicated scoring ... worse than bowling. As far as watching it on TV goes, the euro-weirdness and the grunting on every shot just don't seem to appeal to a nation hooked on watching steroid-hooked ubermenschen culled from our finest housing projects compete to see who can make the most inane and ungrammatical statement after the game.

Tennis? It's just about as bad and boring as getting in your car and driving to the polls on Election Day ... which doesn't appeal to most Americans either.

Hard, yes...

world wide sports writers voted it the HARDEST a few years back...mostly because a player is ALONE (no coach) during matches...and it is very, very physical.
