Class A A-hole ex-father-in-law was/is an absolute tennis fanatic.

Plays to Live/Lives to Play “Masters” league BS. Buys weird cable channels so he can watch international tournaments in the middle of the night.

Super fit and conditioned at 65, looks down his nose at anyone who isn’t.

As if I didn’t hate tennis enough already, he soured me on it real quick. Jerk...

Aside from tennis, this guy sounds like an all around jerk no matter what sport he might like. He’s probably a jerk or A hole about a lot of other things in his life too.

There are plenty of good people who play and like tennis.

I’m sure that there are golf jerks, fishing jerks and auto racing jerks, etc. out there too.

I recently attended a funeral of a tennis player. ALL his kids could say in the eulogy, except for about one minute of work/family likfe, was that he was a great tennis player. ALL their personal anecdotes related to tennis. Most of those in the church knew the deceased through tennis, and I've never met a more stuck-up, boring bunch in my life.

It's the only sport which is a warning sign to me. The tennis fans I've met are among the biggest lame-o's I've ever encountered.
