Book burning is antithetical to American ideals. People have a constitutional right to burn a Koran if they want to, but doing so is insensitive and an unnecessary provocation much like building a mosque at Ground Zero.

“Palin: “Koran Burning Is Insensitive, Unnecessary”
You mean like the Ground Zero Victory Mosque?
Now where did I put my lighter?
“... much like building a mosque at Ground Zero.”
FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION BABY !
just pour water on the crayon, maybe it will melt
Interesting.
I would have thought you were talking about Palin.
She’s on the same side as 0bama and Holder and the other regime Muslims.
The one thing I wouldn’t have taken palin for was a dhimmi. Looks like I was wrong.
Stick a fork in Sarah Palin. She is done.
>Palin: Koran Burning Is Insensitive, Unnecessary
>You mean like the Ground Zero Victory Mosque?
Uh, yeah, she said EXACTLY that. What’s YOUR point?
The whole point, to me at least, is that if I say I’m going to burn the Koran and Muslims threaten me, then if I don’t go through with it anyway, they’ve already got us by the you-know-whats.
No he shouldn’t be doing it in the first place, because burning toilet paper is wasteful. However, you can’t let Muslims decide ANYTHING or they’ll decide EVERYTHING.

Absolutely perfect response.
Really, no matter what this goofy pastor does now, the point has been made: America is a land of freedoms. Islam is a cult of intolerance and death.
If Sarah Palin is against the Koran-burning, you can expect to see liberals come out in favor of it.
Send the pastor cash. He needs it.
Sorry but I think you’re addressing the wrong whackadoodle.
It’s time for some push-back. Under normal circumstances I would agree with Palin on this, but these are not normal circumstances.
We’ve got folks who have come into our nation and are trying to wrestle control away from us. It’s time to let them know we’ll do whatever the hell we please, and they can go to hell.
Yesterday on the radio, the local AM host was talking about this, and most folks had the concern about reprisals by muslims.
Thus, the pastor has proven his point. Folks are not concerned because it is wrong to do so (some were), folks are concerned (afraid) of reaction from the muslims (most folks responding).
This whole charade is a publicity stunt — nothing more.
I’m not a fan of Islam particularly ... but I’m not going to hitch my wagon to some Florida pastor glorifying himself in some half-assed publicity stunt. This event has no purpose other than to draw attention to the people throwing the event.
SnakeDoc
Palin said it right and Petraeus said it wrong. The Koran burning and the GZ Mosque are both middle finger provocations and need to be compared.
You can choose your side FRiend.
If he were not a whackdoodle,
he’d wait until all the media showed up for his book burning,
and then give a speech highlighting the difference in reactions between Christians and Muslims,
talking about a religion of Grace vs a religion of oppression and conquest.
