For the life of me I can't understand why the Republican Party is putting its full weight behind Castle, who is in the pocket of the Democrats. Can someone explain this to me? Castle voted for Obamacare for heaven's sake.

I will explain it.
They do NOT want a BIG win.
Then we will EXPECT real changes.
They want it to be CLOSE and thus they will become INFLUENTIAL, but remain a Minority.
If it is CLOSE they can raise LOTS of money, but not BE accoutnable.
It’s the perfect place for milquetoast spineless sissies.

Can someone explain this to me? Rush has been doing a pretty good job regarding the explanation. Basically, the Pub establishment is more interesting in getting their chairmanships and power back rather than saving this country.

The Republican Party is not what you imagine them to be. They are a component part of the governing coalition that has been in place since 1933.
They can do anything, as long as they don't support any candidates who might threaten the coalition.
This they will never do - and Castle, whatever he calls himself, is a coalition man first and foremost.

(If the answer is "Republican", it must be a stupid question.)
