Questions Persist on O’Donnell’s Resume
Wall Street Journal ^ | 09-30-2010 | Danny Yadron

For the record, Delaware Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell did not take classes at England’s Oxford University. But the tea party-backed Republican, who has hit snag after snag since defeating Rep. Mike Castle in this month’s GOP primary, faced questions for the third consecutive day about her education credentials posted on Internet resume sites.

Guess we found something to agree on. :)

Thing is, it wasn’t so much that democrats won in 2008.

We lost. Self-destructed mostly. About 99% of the problem was that McCain was infinitely more interested in making sure no (other) Republican won.

Once he had the nomination, he really didn’t care anymore.

He’s beat the people he saw as the real opposition:

Other Republicans. Just saying.

You’re still whining. Didn’t I tell you that’s going to get you nowhere. What you need to do is find out where Coons hid his gerbil pictures?

“Would you hire Christine O’Donnell to run your business?”

Heh. Heck, I wouldn’t hire her to clean my apartment without putting in a nanny cam to keep an eye on my stuff. But you and I are on the same wavelength with O’Donnell.

Too late, I was just checking your anti-conservative posting history.

Your agenda is anti-social conservative and pro-gay agenda, no way Christine was going to be on your dance card.

This woman is on record as saying she wouldn’t have lied to saved Anne Frank from the Nazis, yet she can’t even tell the truth about her own past. I’d rather have a liar I don’t support in office than vote to put one there.

You're rewriting history. Stalin didn't use bayonets. He'd have taken you out and shot you.

BTW, comparing/contrasting Conservatives and Republicans with Stalin or Stalinists is considered a big NO NO here.

Time for you to be recycled back to DU.

And if someone calls a conservative on a lie....you’d ban them? Nice.

What's 'nice' is your spin. I don't listen to 'someone' - I'm not that easily led as you seem to be.

The primary is over and the war hasn't stopped against Christine. On this conservative site, you seem to have no problem with liberal tactics being played out here. I DO!

Ban? You betcha!

“Would you hire Christine O’Donnell to run your business?”

-

If I were limited to two candidates, one of which was a self-described MARXIST.

You’re darn right I would.

My problem: I don’t believe that O’Donnell, deep down, is a Republican or a tea partier or anything. I think she’s in it for herself - for self-promotion and self-aggrandisement. Entirely. And I think she — and Paladino — both have the potential of getting into office and then going batsh!t crazy. Like certifiably batsh!t crazy. And I don’t think the repercussions that will have on the Presidential election in 2012, when we have to win, are worth the risk of electing them.

You must have a different definition of conservative than I do; in my world, conservatives don’t lie every time they open their pie-hole.

Uh huh.

Maybe if you call her a teabagger. That might help.

“liberal tactics”? what liberal tactic is that? Pointing out that someone padded their resume?

This is all about funding. Limited money, lots of candidates. We have a chance for a crushing, historic tidal wave in the House. Given that scenario, i’d prefer to give my money to a worthy candidate that actually has a chance of winning, not a flake who can’t keep straight where she went to college, WHEN she went to college, and whether or not she graduated. Sorry, but I have at least a FEW standards for the people I choose to contribute to.

The "documentation" has been forged. I doubt you could go through all 4,520,000 internet references to her and get the cr*p churned out by other parties cleaned up.

BTW, this means that Christine has more than 100 times as many references on the net as Senator Carper ~ the other Delaware Senator. I'd earlier identified him as easily the weakest individual in the Senate!

I don't want Leftwingtards to love me ~ I want them to fear me enough to move back to Europe and leave us alone.

So, you got a problem with attitude?

Yes, I’m a big old liberal queen. That’s why I’ve been on FR since 2005. /sarc

It’s got nothing to do with her social conservatism. True, I don’t think marriage is an issue for the state - I believe that it’s the domain of religion and all anyone, gay or straight, should get from the state is a partnership. I do lean libertarian that way. It may surprise you, however, to learn that I voted straight pro-life party until they lost the ballot in New York State a few years ago.

But my objection to O’Donnell and Paladino is not their social conservatism. It’s their relationship to the truth and their mental stability.

+1?

What was so special about it.

It’s basically a retread of post 46, changed from “Stalin” to “Hitler”.

I actually like Paladino. He’s got a little nutball in him.... but its New York. You have to be a little nuts to get into New York politics. He’s smart, successful (unlike O’Donnell, who can’t even pay her damn bills), and wouldn’t put up with any crap.

His personal moral code leaves a bit to be desired... but... again... its New York. You take what you can get.

You are easily misled by propaganda and adroit editing. Would you like to buy a bridge ~ I presently have title to a couple of big ones near Annapolis.
