Apparently the Claremont Institute, a Conservative organization, is now alleging that the Oxford claims were on the resume that O'Donnell submitted to them back in 2002. So this isn't looking real good.

Of course, they and Ms. O'Donnell haven't had what you might call a friendly history. They might be expected to pull that out, just for spite.

But if she really did put it there..... Oh, hell. It's not like she's applying for anything important, like football coach for the Fighting Irish.

Here we go again with the Dan Rather stuff ~ only this time from an allegedly Conservative organization.

Before going very far down that road if the Claremont institute, or whoever, has had a piece of paper in its hands for the last 8 years we need fingerprints, typewriter or printer analysis, examination to verify fonts, etc.

That there was a firing and a lawsuit in between the date the alleged piece of paper came to them and today really should be weighed heavy against the idea that the paper is legitimate.

We must hold our own accountable to the same standards we held Dan Rather and CBS to.
