My question is not: Do we support Mitt? Do we support Obomneycare? It’s how can we prop up other conservatives as heros when they’ve been supporters in the past of the stuff we’re really fighting?

That part I understood. My mistake was assuming that the question was whether we supported DeMint given that he supported Romney in 2008. My answer was that I disagreed with him on that but did not hold it against him when it comes to who I would support in 2012. The options in 2008 were not very good after Thompson dropped out.
