“There are not many things better than the feeling of being greeted at the door by your dog.” You bet! When your day has been absolutely horrendous, they’re there to coax you back into the real world. Are we blessed or what? :)

Aren’t the “fluffies” forbidden from being showed in the ring? (I learned that on Animal Planet last week.) She’s simply adorable. How old is she? I remember your other one chasing the croquet balls at the FReeper picnic a few years back.

I am not a small dog type, but that is one handsome canine Corgis aren't "small" dogs. They just have short legs. But in their hearts and in their minds they are BIG doogs. I just remembered gorush's other dog's name. Jake? What a character he was.

Hi AFTR...Dagny is now 11 months. She was 3-4 months in that photo. Jake passed last Easter at 14.5 yrs. when Dagny was about 6 mos.

Fluffies are banned as “non breed standard” from showing. A recessive gene must be present in both parents to produce a fluffy. It seems obvious to me that they are banned so as to give all the rest a chance at winning...but I may be a tad biased on that point. :{)

If you get a chance, check out the National Geographic special on dogs, "and man created dog". I thought it was a great documentary.

That’s an absolutely adorable creature. (Her middle name “Taggart’?) Your theory about showing must be correct!
