If there was ever a time to relax, have a cold drink and bond with man's best friend, it was during Saturday's Dogtoberfest at Fort Lowell Park.
The fundraiser, organized for the first time by Handi-Dogs Inc., had something for nearly everyone, be they human or canine.

I'm about to leave for home where I always try and sneak up on her without her seeing, hearing or smelling me.
She knows I'm in the house within moments (at worst) of me sneaking in. I live for that game.

My Lababoxer is a trip she hears me pull in the drive and my wife says she gets by the door and sit and the stands and then sits and generally gets all wound up waiting for me to come in the door. The she waits for me to give her a left over treat from my lunch for the day. As I walk it over to her dish she is in front of me walking spinning around to see where I am then taking a few more steps and spinning around again to see where I am. Shes 100 pounds of retardo dog.

There are not many things better than the feeling of being greeted at the door by your dog.

Oh, my! You have TWO white poodles. Are they about the same age? Your featured one certainly knows his place!
My daughter lost her 16 1/2 year old black standard about a month ago. He’d been a dog she rescued from a dreadful situation, and he was part of her family for more than 8 years. They really miss him, and she has not been able to find a suitable replacement.
She’s in the Albany area of NY, if anyone knows a standard poodle that needs a good home. She has a double fence and a pool for entertainment, plus 3 sons ranging in age from 11-17.
