This is a weak half analysis, since it does not take into account the
ENORMOUS resources the DNC and Obama bin Biden had to expend to counter in California. For example, instead of the time and money DNC/Obama/Biden/Clinton raised and spent in California, they would have had available to spend in states like Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Florida, Missouri, Carolinas and more.
John Kasich (very possible future president), Toomey, and many others who won across the states should thank Fiorina for taking on Boxer until the last days of the campaign!
