Please, please, please! Ms Noonan was in her day a great speechwriter, she did more for Reagan than Reagan’s idiot staff or kids did. Too bad she has fallen and can’t get up. This is this first time I have any sympathy for anyone in the political arena. It’s really unfortunate that she expressed herself in this way. Please be kind to her. Let us remember her as a National Treasure.
Peggie Noonan needed Ronald Reagan. As long as she transmitted his vision in inspired prose, she was the best of the best. But Ronald Reagan did not need Peggie Noonan. Her once lofty writing style now serves a second rate intellect—her own.
