True, but it's going to be easier living where you can soot a deer when you need one without attracting too much attention. Let's face it; the criminals, the lazy and those unused to it will not migrate to where it's cold. The South will be full of refugees from the weather in an economic collapse.

I would suggest, if you have the experience and ability, living in states like Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, northern Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota, Wyoming , Montana, Idaho and Alaska.
