Humblegunner certainly doesn't need me to defend him but I sure agree with his viewpoint. Blog pimping sucks traffic away from the community discussion here on FR and is simply a way for blog pimps (not all bloggers are pimps) to use the resources of FR that I and thousands of others DONATE to maintain as a business to make money. That is not appropriate use of our money or the trust the FR community has on the web.
Please reconsider your position. It is quite selfish and does not seem to be supported by the admin moderators.

I find HG who is not even a mod to be quite selfish, and I will not bow to his demands. Since you donate here, why do you support a person who harasses people everyday? All he does is bring down the site, and all you have to do is look at his in forum posts to see this. Let the mods define the rules, not him. What I am doing is within them.

I agree that there are a very few bloggers who post 1 line and never come back to FR to participate in discussion.
But I say again:
There IS a bloggers section on FR.
There are NO rules posted to the bloggers section.
Humblegunner is NOT a mod, yet verbally assaults freepers in good standing.
Humblegunner has used foul-mouthed language to trash GOOD blogger threads such as this one. Have you even seen this important video? Have you seen it posted from any other MAIN stream venue? The answer is NO.
Mobile Vulgas was a respected freeper here for 5 years. Humblegunner scrapped whatever DONATION may have come from mobilevulgas who is now banned. Yet the potty mouthed humblegunner remains.
Chris from Islaminaction has been nothing but respectful and engages in conversations TO FR. His topics actually bring IN more FR viewership and hopefully donations.
How is Chris’ thread or Mobile Vulgas’ thread any different than michellemalkin or hotair?
