We are now going to hear from the Rats how Repubs are starving the unemployed while feeding the rich, when it is just the opposite. Liberals would rather keep the poor on a starvation diet as long as it is from the Gummit rather than from private sector job, for votes. They want to keep people in poverty on unemployment and Gummit cheese rather than be proven wrong about Marxism. We would rather take the hit now and stimulate industry leading to better jobs in the future. This is the difference between them and us, we place our trust in individual freedom and the private sector while they want to enslave people to a gummit programs. It is time to be Americans and walk away from slavery. It is time for our leaders to stand up for freedom and capitalism.
The only way out of the Obamalaise is to shrink the gummit at every level starting with taxes and unemployment. This makes perfect sense to stimulate the economy over time to take some burden off the private sector leading to more jobs. Every Conservative knows the best welfare is a job and it is time to wean the unemployed off the gummit nipple to bring them back to personal independence. This will force people to make the immediate decisions they need to make to survive the obama meltdown and make it to the other side. This will transfer Billion$ to the job creators and begin to bring this Country back from this disaster. Those dollars can be used to create jobs and start to bring employment back rather than more people at the shrinking trough.
When the gummit runs a program like unemployment they take $1000 from the rest of us so after all the waste and corruption is milked out there is less than $100 getting to the person needing the help. So the way this system works is for every $1000 less than $100 actually reaches its destination. We would be better served having these people going to churches where upwards of $950 of every $1000 reaches the people and takes the pressure off the economy. The reason of course this will never happen is the Dems will never give up that much power.
We have so yoked and hobbled our industrial sector there is no way for them to get up off the mat. In addition to throwing roadblocks in front of them, these commies vilify the only people who can solve the second Great Depression. They are at war with the private sector since they really want to nationalize this Country for their communist utopian dictatorship. This is why we have to refuse their heroin everywhere we find it starting with entitlements. Will it be hard and painful getting off this Gummit addiction? Of course it will, but we need our freedom and there is no such thing as a little Gummit anything; it all destroys. It destroys a person’s drive, ambition and creativity while encouraging resentment and class warfare.
The same tough medicine needs to be given to the rest of the entitlements like Social Insecurity and remove the third rail. Why can’t people opt out of SSI and Medicare if they want? What part of free society don’t they understand? To say that everybody needs to take a bus or Model T when they would prefer to drive their own car is not freedom but tyranny, so why should the Youts of America be forced to pay into a broken down system? If it’s so great, why can’t it or Medicare or Deathcare stand on their own or head for the dustbin where they belong? Simple, they want you to be their serfs for their experiment.
This is why we have to end unemployment. Until we make Gummit smaller and less of a factor in our lives we will be their serfs while they fool us into hating our employers. What they are really saying is you need to give up your and business’ freedom and turn it over to an all powerful Big Brother. We have to accept enslavement by a corrupt, wasteful, inefficient slothful giant to protect us from our employers. We need to shrink the Giant to free the slaves, until then we will be going out to the mailbox waiting for our Gummit worker to bring us our Gummit gruel. America is better than that so we need to take the first step away from the commies who run this Country and walk towards Freedom. We have to starve the beast for us to become truly free. The first step is the hardest but that is what is needed to begin to break this addiction from the top to the bottom. There is one person waiting at the end of this journey back and she is Lady Liberty who can be passed to our next generation if we have the courage. Lady Liberty was earned through hard work, capitalism and patriot blood, not found in a mailbox.

The JACKASS party are nothing without the slaves that empower them. Nothing has changed in 150+ years. The DUmocrats are the party of SLAVERY, SEDITION (against the Constitution), SUBVERSION (of law), SOCIALISM (for free citizens) and SURRENDER (to America’s enemies).
No doubt...tax those on the government payroll at rates higher than anyone, including zillionaires. Make them fund the bull chit they impose on everyone else.
One exception that excludes the military. They have already paid their due in blood, sweat and tears.
I should add including those serving as desk jockeys at the pentagon or as advisors to DUH-bama in the higher tax bracket as they have only earned thier pay on the backs of the grunts currently serving on the front lines.
Why are you unemployed is the real question. The Gummit stopped the drilling and now you are unemployed. If they didn’t have this check you and the rest of the workers would be knocking down their doors, but hey have bought you off. The real issue is why are you unemployed, you should be working and so should millions more.

The acute reason that I am unemploymed because the company I worked for lost a client due to a merger of that client with another company. The client already had a service provider contract under the "merged into" company. The sales team at my former company did not generate a new client and thus, my position was eliminated.
I know you're getting at the general "why" and the general "without UI, people would be breaking down doors", but I'm living outside the classroom and under my own personal circumstances where I'm out of savings and unemployment in one month's time and there are not enough jobs for me and those millions of others.
I routinely received good performance reviews at this job. I had no hand in the sales process other than providing outstanding service to the client team I worked out. Those sales people who failed are still there. Nice how that works.
I did not create exotic mortgaged backed securities. I did not pass laws mandating mortgage approvals to those clearly unable to pay. I did not buy a home I could not afford. I did not sell a home or mortgage to someone who could not afford it. I did not vote for Obama. I called and emailed against amnesty and the healthcare bill. I demand the Bush tax cuts remain the same. I am against the stimulus and recognize it as an Obama slush fund of bribe money. I am against the Bush TARP money too.
But I'm just me - one person, completely powerless to stop this. And so, yea, I understand the WHY quite a bit, thanks. I'd just like to keep my lights on while I pray for better days.
You are preaching to the choir. I am in the lumber business and have pretty much wiped out my savings and refuse to go on UI. I am living on faith and so far the Lord has provided and he will in the future. Have you thought of starting your own business?
You are not powerless, they want you to believe you are powerless to maintain power. Join some groups, you have the time to organize people and stop this. Keep the faith.
