I would suggest that one should be grounded in their own faith in such a way that they are not influenced by confusion or political ideology.
Glen Beck has done a tremendous amount of good and it would be expected that he interject his religious perspective.
My primary care physician is a Hindu. I find many Hindu practices and beliefs disturbing, and others laughable.
He is my physician— but for the health of my Soul I go to that Great Physician.
Beck’s religious views are of consequence to me only in that I desire that he and all mankind should come to know Christ as I know Him— believing as I do that all of us will meet Him and t’were best to do so on his terms before that Last Day.
He is an interesting person to hear and read, and I have learned much from him— in the subjects on which I have heard him— and I have, at his insistence, checked his facts and found them accurate.
A lady of my family says “oh, Beck’s a Mormon— therefore none of what he says can be trusted”— yet she, too, will listen to Dr. Nahasapemapetalan (not his real name) on matters of health. This both puzzles and amuses me.
