I’m not so sure that Sean has total control over who his guests are. He does have a producer who calls the shots.

Producers vary in influence depending on the magnitude of the on air talent. For instance, Rush Limbaugh runs his own show. Producers run when Rush suggests. I’ll bet Sean has enormous influence over the content and guests.
