Hard to believe. When I entered the Navy through AOCS, the Navy bent over backwards to ensure tolerance. As I was the only Jew in the regiment, every Friday evening a bus pulled-up to the barracks to take me to services in town and then back. A bus seemed excessive for just one passenger, but that was probably all they had.

With those kind of antics going on, Colorado Springs is becoming increasingly polarized over religious issues, and unfortunately the activists on both sides seem to have difficulty articulating the intent of the American First Principles codified into the 1st amendment prohibition against state establishments of religion.
