A Short History Of The "Birther" Movement -- Americans Who Think Obama Was Born In Kenya
Grace Wyler | Feb. 1, 2011, 7:08 AM

The will-they-or-won't-they saga over the release of Obama's Hawaiian birth certificate has thrown the so-called "birther" movement back into the national spotlight.

A thriving group of conspiracy theorists, lawyers and conservative politicians, the "birthers" believe the President is not a U.S. citizen, despite some pretty strong evidence to the contrary.

"Birthers" vary in their arguments, but all reject Obama's presidency as illegitimate.

"birthers" believe the President is not a U.S. citizen, despite some pretty strong evidence to the contrary.

Pretty strong evidence is not enough, especially when you consider that he should be able to produce proof. Just like the rest of us can.

A Short History Of The “Birther” Movement — Americans Who Think Obama Was Born In Kenya

________________________________________________

Right off the bat, we know this is Bull Shit.

A birther is NOT someone who only thinks Obama was born in Kenya.

It’s so much more than that. A birther is ANYONE who has doubts, concerns or questions over the many, many discrepancies out there regarding the birth and adoption of Barack Barry Mohammed Hussein Obama II Jr. Soetero.

Is the “strong evidence” strong enough to qualify Obama for a job working behind a cash register at CVS?

The problem is this:

We have a right to know his background. If the journalists DO NOT VET him, we have the right to do their job for them.

Here’s what I say....There is a reason why he is not forthcoming with his documents (authentic b/c, college apps/transcripts,passport info, selective service, IL legislative recs, adoption recs, etc etc etc). Why does he have a CT ssn when as far as we know he has never lived here?

I want an answer to these valid questions!! And anyone who doesn’t want and demand an answer is the kook!

So, if I'm reading you right, this is bovine fecal matter.

Am I right? ;-)

As this saga unravels, it's doesn't look too good for the the obamabots.

Now, the MSM is coming to the rescue for trying to keep the "birthers" over in the nutcase catagory.

Other than having their doubts, and wanting to see a long-form birth certificate, the "birthers" haven't done much harm to obama. There have been a few court cases, but the plantiffs have mostly been summarily dismissed as crackpots and obama-owned judges have thrown them out of court as fast as they come in.

But speaking of crackpots, along comes newley elected Governor of Hawaii, Neil Abercrombie, who decides he will pull a grandstand play by shutting up all the birthers once and for all by actually producing obama's long-form birth certificate.

Not officially connected, but very coincidental, obama decides to have an impromptu and unannounced Hawaiian vacation about the time Abercrombie takes office and just before the announcement about the pending reveal of the long-form.

Before Abercrombie reignited this thing, it had pretty much settled from a roar, down to a hummmmmm; but the impish ex-hippie governor jump-started it back to life.

Like Geraldo and Al Capone's vault, the Governor came up with nothing - the birth certificate could not be found. Even armed with a warrant, Abercrombie came up barehanded.

The can of worms is re-opened and the antics of Abercrombie have even whetted the senses of those who were heretofore convinced obama was born in Hawaii.

Is the Governor just a bumbling idiot, or is this part of a scheme to cover the manufacture of a pre-dated long-form just in time to skirt the eligibility requirement laws passed by half a dozen states already for the 2012 elections?

But just like the MSM publishes a flurry of Sarah Palin hit pieces everytime she says something, they are pumping out "bash the birther" pieces more frequently now.

I don't know how this is going to turn out, but it going to be entertaining as hell.

...the "birthers" believe the President is not a U.S. citizen, despite some pretty strong evidence to the contrary.
Still pushing that same tired meme.
The correct version that this idiotic Grace Wyler, and the left in general, refuses to understand...
...the "birthers" believe know the President is not a U.S. natural born citizen, despite because of some pretty strong evidence to the contrary that his Daddy held British citizenship.

What we “birthers” believe or disbelieve is not important. What is important is what the media is willing to investigate and to prove “beyond a shadow of doubt” about Obama’s past. The paramount question that must be answered is why does Obama insist on hiding his past by crafting his own version of the truth in books that he may or may not have authored.

Every kid that plays Little League Baseball in America must produce a long form certificate of live birth. Yet our current president refuse to do so. How can this be? Has any other president in the history of our nation taken this position?

I get agitated when lib-tards try and define conservatives with labels like this.

I kinda believe Obama was born in Hawaii. But I definetly KNOW that Obama has concealed his records. Why?

I kinda believe Barack Obama, Sr. is the real father. But I KNOW that British, Kenyan and Indonesian records cloud the issue.

There’s just so much mystery. And when Chrissy Matthews and Neil Abercrombie even raise questions... the list of ‘birther’s’ grows day by day.

“strong evidence”

OK, for the 956,230,429th time: let’s see it.

Grace Wyler, American gerbalist, reminds me of the defense attorney who winds up his closing argument with,
“The evidence will show ... “.

People who write these articles are just plain ignorant.

It's pretty good theory backed up with solid evidence. For instance the Kenyan government thinks Obama was born in Kenya. James Orengo, the Minister of Lands states this, which is recorded 2009 Kenyan parliament minutes:

James Orengo statement cropped

"If America was living in a situation where they feared ethnicity and did not see itself as a multiparty state or nation, how could a young man born here in Kenya, who is not even a native American, become President of America? It is because the did away with exclusion."

I made this exact comment a year or two ago to my oldest grandson (high school age). Told him I had to provide his b/c for every baseball and football team he ever played on since first grade but O has not provided his. An apolitical athlete, his comment was “how can you get elected president without showing your b/c?”. Even kids get this!!!

“...despite some pretty strong evidence to the contrary.”

When I wanted to sign up my kid for the floor hockey league, the folks who ran the league wanted something more than “pretty strong evidence” of his age.

Any article that has to use the term “pretty strong evidence” to substantiate something that 99% of the citizenry can demonstrate conclusively in their own case is (in my opinion) essentially conceding that the so-called ‘birthers” have a legit point.

So why not simply allow the long form b/c to be released?

1) He does not have one.

2) It contains damaging information on his parents and/or eligibility.

3) Despite being 100% eligible, it's too much fun having the "birther" story out there to rile the Right-wingers.

But, who’s his Daddy???
Same thing I've been asking...
So the main question still remains...
Who's your Daddy? Are you a dual citizen or not?
