We had to put down one of our kitties because of Feline Infectious Peritonitis. Is there hope for a cat who gets FIP?

The FIV my kitty has and most FIV and FELV acts like HIV does in humans, it’s slow moving and I wouldn’t even know he was “sick” unless he’d had a test. That was over 2 years ago when I found him and chose to keep him.
FIP is different, it’s very uncomfortable and usually much faster moving. :( Sorry about your kitties.
Kitty heaven :)
