Palin says that Christie is forced to cut budgets because NJ is broke. But she points out that when she became Governor of Alaska, she cut even though she had a surplus:

‘Scuse me? What liberal group is attacking Chrisie 24/7, filing frivolous lawsuits and lies, lies, lies, costing his state huge sums to defend him? (Magically stopped when she resigned.) I’d say her actions were more wisdom than “being a QUITTER”. I’d say she’s human.

Not sayin’ they’re not; just haven’t heard about it if they are. - (& she hasn’t announced, not to my knowledge)

She DID bail out McCain’s campaign. Scared him to death. He practically endorsed Obama, still is from where he lives in “Rinoville”.

I can't believe these so called conservatives defending Palin's SURRENDER.

Hey, PDS twit...for someone who "SURRENDERED" she sure took a lot of lib scalps in the 2010 elections.

I like Sarah, but she needs not to do stuff like this.

Yeah, staying quiet really worked well for George W. Bush too.

I will crawl over burning coals and glass to vote for her.

Me too. It's not that we worship her, it's that we recognize her good heart and strength of will, which she has demonstrated by her actions.

She's a once-in-a-generation politician, just like Reagan, and I don't intend to miss the opportunity to work for her.

And this is what the pundits, even many conservative pundits, miss. Support amongst conservatives for Sarah is wide, and very, very deep.

Ok Rambo, would you be comfortable with Palin sending your son/daughter into a combat zone knowing her tendency to cut & run?

I would absolutely trust Sarah Palin to command our troops. You do know that her son Track is an Iraq War vet and that she has an excellent relationship with the U.S. military, right? And she has never "cut and run" as you PDS weenies like to put it.

And you know what? I don't think you are a vet at all. I think you are a poser, based on your attitude, which I find contrary to every vet I have ever known and all of whom strongly support Palin.

the nastiness is not coming from the people who are questioning Palin’s qualifications...it’s all from your side.

What a LIE that is...I guess you're unfamiliar with the terms "Palinista," "Palintard," and "cultist"?

From what I hear, Governor Christie wants to increase spending in New Jersey to over 29 billion dollars next year, up some 500 million from this year.

Government spending needs to start going in the other direction.

I applaud him for telling teachers to take a one year pay freeze and creating salary caps for school superintendents, but the spending increases overall need to stop.

having been deeply disappointed in her judgement when it happened

Trust your first instinct. It's usually correct.

I speak to Republicans everyday.. Republicans of all stripes..you know, the ones who you need to vote for the Presidential candidate. THEY DON’T WANT HER TO RUN. She isn’t as well liked as you seem to believe she is and all the hoping and screaming and insulting other Republicans will not change that fact.

I'm starting to believe this. I hope it's true. And I hope we can find out once and for all and get it over with. I'm sick of hearing about Mrs. Palin and her truncated term as governor.

Nice summary. Thanks for posting all the links.

I understand there is a greater context of her situation. I think you would too if the candidate was one of your favs.

Frankly, if she had not quit and stayed, getting a full term worth of experience, she might be one of my faves.

But, the fact is what it is and her choice renders her unelectable.

She would need @ 70 million votes to beat dear leader. If there isn't even a solid consensus about her here, on this Conservative forum, how in the world will she wi out there?

And, in spite of all the name calling (not by you) on this thread, not one freeper has addressed her lame-duck excuse for quitting. Folks here behave as if it never happened, as if she never said it. Well, she did, the MSM and any opponent will hammer her with it and the American voter will react...that reaction will not be favorable to her.

It is true. I like her, will vote and support her, BUT I also realize what damage has been done both by the media as well as herself. Hiding out on fox and facebook is not going to cut it in order to beat barry in 2012.

It is what it is. It may not be fair, but we can’t act like ostriches and think she will easily waltz into office the way she is going.

Hopefully she gets hammered with it in the PRIMARIES, so we don't all have to suffer from it. She's damaged goods. We need leaders willing to call her on it.

And now she’s fallen into the trap, and is pissing off those of us who appreciate Gov. Christie. Meaning she’s going to get even LESS support. I just want it over with. I’d like to see her come in 4th in a few primaries and be done. That’d be beautiful.

Chris Christie is on record saying that he does not believe illegal aliens are here illegally; he has indicated that he supports amnesty for illegals; he generally favors strict gun control and he supports construction of the Ground Zero Mosque even as he condemns those who oppose it.

Keep reminding those who are easily swayed by the new kid in town.

Opinions certainly vary, but the facts do not...

If one is intellectually honest with the full factual information that is freely available to those who are willing to seek it, one would readily discern she selflessly fell on her sword to prevent further abusive, frivolous complaints against the state of AK, the office of the Gov and her personally *AND* to relieve her of the shackles of public office that prevented her from responding to attacks with full force.

Or, you can just stick with willful, nescient knee-jerking. Or perhaps it is mere trolling. It’s one or the other and I’ll let your reply (or lack there of) determine which.

She’s got that right. Porky will be in the dustbin soon. Flavor of the month. Sarah will not be going away anytime soon.

I liked him when he burst on the scene, but more and more he is sounding like a RINO that will disappoint.Great for Jersey, but like Scott Brown in Mass, that is the best the NE can do.

Do a bigger point, I do not think America is ready for Bobby Bacala from the Soprano's look alike as POTUS.
