Or were they hoping for a gun-related incident in Wisconsin or Ohio?
But, when nothing was forthcoming, they decided to go with it anyway?

Just as obama’s come out with as yet another push for the “Commonsense” evisceration of your right of self-defense, we have two prominent news stories that show just why this right is so important.
As in Thomas Jefferson words:
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
The crisis in Libya shows why the right of self-defense from the government is extremely important.
And we have the Crisis in Japan to show us why guns are important in a disaster – societal breakdown situation.
I think something tells me he is trouble with is base.. If he wasn’t then I don’t think he would be doing this..
