I hear ya! I’m going through that now (new son)! The paperwork is unreal. I am just lucky to be able to do everything through the Army passport office.
Congrats!!I had to travel to the frankfurt consulate each time they wanted more info, interview, etc,jeez oh man.Well we went the the huge walkplatz,cathedral,did the tourist thing too.Its right by the zoo i remember that.But it has been well worth it,i hope the same for you.
That was cold war tho,they had to know all geneology of both sides of my and my wifes family.
