This is probably why you see photos of him labeled “Barry” with no last name. The kindergarten photo, that allegedly is captioned as Barry Obama (or Barack), isn’t shown WITH the caption. It’s just reported to be captioned on the back.
Has anyone seen an actual Punahou yearbook WITH photos of Barry labeled Obama? I’m not talking about that one cropped photo of Barry playing “hoops” with the white caption “Barack Obama” which could EASILY be photoshopped in or over whatever the caption, if any, said.

People say that Barack was known as Barry Soetoro at Occidental. Of course, it’s all hearsay, since all those records are also sealed.
