I heard that! Interesting to see how the conservative talk show guys are lining up. Levin went after Trump and the whole ‘birther’ issue last night. Hard to imagine, I know, but he got downright nasty about it. Rush is having The Donald on (I think tomorrow).
I kind of resent the attitude that we can’t walk and chew gum at the same time. No, eligibility isn’t the only question out there, but it IS fundamental if the Constitution is to mean anything. So, I really don’t understand a Constitutional scholar like Levin saying ‘it gets us nowhere.’ What is that supposed to mean? It doesn’t win ‘us’ the next election? “Us” being the GOP?
