In all fairness, Wersland seems to have that kind of luck with the media. He was previously interviewed out of the many thousands and trillions of anti-Walker protesters on March 11th by IPS News reporter Katrin Dauenhauer who happened to stumble upon this random iron worker.
Its almost like the media have certain go-to people for sound bites.
Here are the links, see for yourself. This is how stupid they think we are.

Unfortunately those sound bite einsteins are the same exact people they pick for juries, local school boards, and get a microphone stuck in their face when natural disasters strike. It's like media production crews have a stupid auora monitor and can cull them from a crowd.
They do have “go to” people for quotes.
I remember a big joke out of NYC or something where a guy almost made a living getting quoted ad naseum about any topic.
yahoo and kansas city are A/P, so they used the same source.
Reuters is separate.
That March 11, is a real doozie Local, I guess.
Where do I sign up to be the “typical man on the Street”
Does this contract work include a per diem???
Wis.State Journal reported some large number of demonstrators, but said they were so co-mingled that it was not possible to give separate numerical estimates of Tea Party/Walker supporters and union supporters.

Since Tim Wersland is a professional interviewee for the left I put his name in the keywords. Gotta keep track of Progressive operatives.
Apparently Wersland belongs to the same union as the green helmet guy and the bomb magnet lady of Reuters news fame.
