My sincerest thanks, to each of you, for all of your Prayers and kind well-wishes!  

Thanks to the Lord's Works, and no doubt to the efforts of all of you, we may have reason for guarded optimism today...

Please convey my heartfelt thanks for the kind and generous support from you and the prayer warriors.  Today is a better day than yesterday, though a long road to recovery remains ahead.

The doctors have advised me that my white blood cell count is down from its high of 28,000 to just over 11,000.  The infected wound had to be surgically widened and drained, and I'm on vancomycin (sp?) and another high-strength IV antibiotic. 

Thank you again for your generosity in spirit and brotherhood in faith.  It is deeply appreciated by me and mine.  Wishing all a joyful and blessed Easter.
