Like my wife says, and I agree with, it's her voice that makes me want to turn the channel when she's speaking at some rally. She's a screech owl with that girly, high pitched voice. Her voice makes her as Presidential as Lindsy Lohan. And somebody needs to tell her that the microphone does the job of amplifying her voice, she doesn't need to yell all the time as though she's trying to rally people. They are ALREADY rallied. Just speak calmly and seriously Sarah, say what you have to say, and let the speaker system do the amplification. Otherwise, your voice is like fingernails down a chalkboard.

Good grief man...get a freakin' grip.

I imagine you sound exactly like your wife.

"She needs to come across more serious in general. It’s easier for people to put their trust in someone who has quiet strength than someone who seems too excitable. All that said, I’m still crazy about her."

Reagan was like that, always calm and maintaining his composure and tone; as well as his sense of humor. I like Sarah Palin, but she'll look and sound like a little girl attacking Obama if/when they debate. She simply does not have a 'professional' voice. She needs to take voice lessons. And she needs to understand that a quiet, confident person makes a bigger hit than a hyped up one with a high pitched voice that makes her sound wound up all the time. Too bad we couldn't take her heart and fortitude and put it inside one of the good males running for Repub. nomination. Sarah's lovely, but she's not Presidential by any stretch.

"forcing her to raise her voice to the shrill level any woman’s voice reaches when trying to be heard over a cacaphony. This is a tactic being used by PDS sufferers"

Nah, ya can't blame everything on the liberals. Sarah just happens to have a high pitched, shrill voice. And it gets worse when she thinks she has to excite the troops to a high level by shouting at them. All she needs to do is stay calm and keep the mic close to her mouth. She also needs to have a powerful speaker system that will drown out the liberal drones. At this point in her career she'd be a much more effective force for conservatism if she'd just continue hammering Obama and backing the conservative agenda. Until she can eventually back a candidate and get votes for him. Sarah can garner many votes for the right person, but she is not that person, not yet anyway.

Herman Cain was the clear winner in that debate. He was the only one, besides Paul, that answered with a “yes” or “no.” Santorum didn’t.

“Reagan was like that, always calm and maintaining his composure and tone; as well as his sense of humor”

Good example.

“And she needs to understand that a quiet, confident person makes a bigger hit than a hyped up one with a high pitched voice that makes her sound wound up all the time.”

I think it’s just her personality. Hard for a leopard to change its stripes.
