TOP NCO AT FORT BRAGG SPECIAL FORCES COMMAND UNDER INVESTIGATION - CSM MARIO VIGIL ACCUSED OF ADULTERY WITH CIVILIAN WOMAN - SHE CLAIMS PREGNANT WITH GREEN BERET'S "LOVE CHILD" - SOURCES SAY CASH SETTLEMENT WITH VIGIL MAY BE IN WORKS FEMALE COMPLAINANT HAS TWO OTHER CHILDREN - EACH BY DIFFERENT DADDIES

The top-ranking NCO at the Army Special Forces Command at Fort Bragg is under investigation for adultery.

CSM Mario Garcia Vigil is accused by a civilian female of fathering her "love child." The little bambino is expected to be born in August. MilitaryCorruption.com has learned it will be the third child by a man she is not married to. Court records in Johnson County, N.C. show that the female went after both men in court and they were ordered to pay child support.

In the case of the command sergeant major, Vigil admits he had an affair with Connie Delaine Pruitt of Durham County, but broke up with her in April after the relationship soured.

The "victim" claims Vigil lied to her about his marital status, stating he was "legally separated" from his spouse. Apparently Pruitt had ideas about becoming the senior NCO's next wife. Beware of a woman scorned.

Things got so bitter that Vigil asked a civilian judge to order the furious female to stop contacting him, his wife, his family and co-workers on base.

SETTLEMENT POSSIBLE ON WOMAN'S CHARGES BUT ARMY MAY STILL SEEK PUNISHMENT FOR "ADULTERY"

Sources say that the CSM may be working out a "settlement" with the angry ex-galpal, but that won't save him from disciplinary action by the Army. Adultery is still a crime, at least when the brass want to prosecute someone under the UCMJ, so the Green Beret is not out of the woods yet.

The case is a big embarrassment for the Command, since Vigil has a heretofore outstanding record and was chosen top noncommissioned officer in the U.S. Army Special Forces Command in 2008. That takes in a lot of territory - like 14,000 soldiers in all.

Because one of Vigil's jobs at Bragg is to be a good example for his troops and enforce high standards of conduct and performance for his enlisted Green Berets, he has been removed from his position, pending resolution of the probe.

The worst case scenario for the CSM - if convicted at court-martial - would be a dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and one year behind bars. You can all go to the bank, dear readers, that that will never happen.

I do not condone adultery and the military needs to do what it does, but why didn't they investigate the murderous thug that killed all those people while he was telling people about his thoughts and plans.
Seems to me the military investigates the wrong things.

The most confusing day in Harlem is Fathers Day.

I thought that this kind of thing was de rigueur for the zer0bama/Holder generation of the US military????....

This CSM merely emulated Sergeant Major of the Army Preston’s adulterous behavior.

Yes, but they’ve approved sodomite “marriage” arrangements on base.

Adultery has no place on a military base.

But neither does sodomy.

If you cannot discipline yourself, you don’t belong in the military.

Adultery is against the UCMJ.

Was speaking specifically of the racist comment in post #1 which has since been removed.

Sounds more like a lust-child than a love-child.

Damned shame a man’s perfect career screwed up because the little head did the thinking for a few seconds.

My son is at Ft Bragg. He says it's a third world country the way discipline is enforced. A married sgt rapes an E4 and it's covered up. In Iraq, a Captain knocks up a Spc and it's covered up. A civilian rape occurs on base in the woods, the mp’s find her wandering dazed on a back road, no investigation. He's preparing for his second tour but doesn't think he'll be re-enlisting. What's surprising here is that a Command Sgt Major runs the battalion and is the de-facto ultimate authority, but he's being hauled up?? He must have pissed off a Colonel.
