I’m beginning to develop a theory that the best and brightest will always leave a deficient country. People who “migrate” seem to have an extra kick in their DNA that they aren’t satisfied with the bottom of life.

That is why the US has succeeded so well all these years. People who had gumption (and I do believe it is inherited) came here, leaving Old Europe eviscerated.

That is why Mexico’s open border policy is deadly. Those who stay are “Old Europe”. Their best fight to come here.

What’s left in England is a populace that no matter what their opinion is, can accept having everything taken away from them, as long as they get the dole. The Dole is a way of life there.
