The fact that Perry is having success does not automatically mean that other late entries would have similar success. In fact, Perry's success could be what makes it hard for other entrants to gain traction. Perry grabbed the spotlight from Michele Bachmann, whom I supported, but it might not be as easy to grab the spotlight from Perry. In addition, Bachmann herself is still in the top tier. How much more room is there for another anti-Romney candidate to move into contention? Palin may enter the race, but I not think that she will get nearly as far as her supporters suspect.

Palin may enter the race, but I not think that she will get nearly as far as her supporters suspect.
I believe that Palin will definitely get in the race; that she's already experimented with issues to hit Perry with; and once she does announce it's going to be a knock-down, drag-out fight between the two of them.
