Yes, I’m trying to alert people to the fact that, if we pursue this aggressively, within a decade or two we could live in a very different world. A better world. Well, at least a lot better than it would be otherwise — since we seem to be going to hell in a handbasket in other ways. Imagine all the implications and ramifications of the US being energy independent!

That is exactly correct. And it goes way beyond Thorium.

As another says above there are a multitude of ways the United States could be energy independent (including renewables); it always could have been, it readily can be, and it should be.

But that is not what "they" want. That also is way beyond "stuck on stupid." As the nation hopefully comes to this understanding, including Thorium potential, the global cabal manipulating the legitimate taxpaying citizens of the United States will gradually become exposed.

This is not isolationism, but rather loyalty to a set of principles (individual liberty, the Constitution, Christian morality) which was the raison d'etre of the nation.

Think of how many political candidates speak of this.
