1. YOU dont know what you are talking about if you say the people of Texas supported instate tuition for illegals!
There are some things better left unsaid or untyped sometimes. I await Bigun.
The Texas House had a 78 to 72 Democrat majority and the Senate was 16 Republicans to 15 Democrats at the time this passed.

Today the count in the House is is 101 Republicans and 49 Democrats and the Senate has 19 Republicans and 12 Democrats.

That is largely because of THIS issue and voter ID!
Ah, so the now Republican legislature has obviously been submitting bills to the Governor to repeal “in-state tuition” for illegals. If I recall, VoterID was signed recently by Perry, so I assume Perry vetoed the “in-state tuition” repeal, since obviously it overwhelmingly has “the will of the people” to back it up?
Your mind is made up so I won’t further confuse you with facts.
Have a nice day!
No problem. I was actually waiting for facts to support your claim, but since you obviously don’t have any it’s best you move on before you embarrass yourself further.
Have a nice day !
Whatever you say sport!
Quite the contrary, but very leary of politicians who feel the need to tout their faith, make their church attendance a public issue, or allow their faith/church to influence and/or trump national issues that should be only measured against the Founding Documents. Case in point here: border security and illegal immigration. The border should be secured and immigration laws either changed or enforced. No application of personal/religious "compassion" or "humane treatment" that flouts the law, i.e. in-state tuition for illegals and/or some form of amnesty.
So why do you really hate Governor Rick Perry?
Rick Perry on E-verify:
I agree that some kind of electronic verification system is needed so we can make sure employers comply with the law not to hire illegal immigrants. E-Verify is a federal government created and run program, and as a result there have been a number of problems with it so far. The Department of Homeland Security estimated the system could fail to identify more than half of all illegal immigrants.
But just because it has problems doesnt mean we should throw employee verification out. It means we should make it work. Employee verification needs to be accurate so American citizens arent denied jobs based on bad data and undocumented immigrants dont slip through the system. And it needs to be less cumbersome for employers to use, so its not costing them money they could be using to create jobs.
So as president, Id work to put in place an E-Verify system thats more accurate, less burdensome and really delivers the results we need it to.
