Even here on FreeRepublic, on more than one occasion, I have said "I miss the 1950s."
And then I have been attacked by outraged freepers crying, "Really?? You want to bring back Jim Crow?! Hey, this is a Conservative site, buddy!"
It might be funny as satire, but these freepers meant it.
I hear you. There are the occasional sort who will react with liberal knee-jerk on Free Republic.
1950’s I was not around but men were men and women were women, today these fools want men being women, women wearing strap ons to be men, and men to be a woman who thinks they’re a lesbian.
sanity reigned back then , today we have a public education which does not teach, lazy teachers and many fools teaching in colleges so they can get the likes of zero and his nutters in power for ever
Well I'm with you. I would love to go back to a time when you could leave your keys in an unattended car, you could smoke in a bar, low Gov't regulations and much more economic freedom just to name a few. If we got dopes running around here like Libs whining about Jim Crow and other unfortunate asides, they need to ride the lightning.
I miss the 50’s with great passion.... and I don’t give a flip about what the small brain morons think of that.
