But the responses to your comments contradict the Palin fans`s stand-by that Palin resigned the governorship because legal issues took her attention away from her job and were a huge distraction and financial drain.

What moronic commentary.

When Palin resigned, the ethics complaints against her administration had cost Alaskans two million dollars and thousands of hours of lost manpower. She quit as Governor on behalf of Alaska.

This is a potential defamtion lawsuit, it's a private matter between her, her family and her attorneys. She isn't costing Alaska a dime.

Nice try.

I’m really wondering if FR has more libs on it than conservatives lately. Is it just me or does it annoy the hell out of anyone else when ‘freepers’ take the same position as libs.. Claiming Palin is “Whining” “unpresedential” and the like on this issue for pursuing her rights? What the hell ever happened to standing up for one’s family and what’s right?

The other day it was people defending the gay soldier who used the debates to Parrot Obama’s ‘ok to be gay in the military’ crap...and the lightning flew. Today it’s this. A few days back it was Freepers defending Perry’s no fence on the border and tuition for illegal BS.

Are there any real Conservatives with real conservative beliefs left here or did the board suddenly go ‘moderate’ or ‘Liberal” ?

Email sent to Random House. I was nice, but excoriatingly honest about my feelings. :-)

Not necessarily true. It's a really big mistake to assume that this election cycle, or this period in US history, is comparable to any other period in our lives or in US history.

You should give this more thought.

I strongly agree. This has strategic importance, or else the Palin family would have gone after the previous forty gazillion offenders.

For a while now, I’ve felt that perhaps there are some real posers on FR. Certainly there have been a lot of liberal-like irrational arguments about a number of topics lately.

I'm still here, still pro-Constitution, pro-America, still anti-corruption.

I once had like-minded friends, but both of them drifted away some time ago.

People skills is hard work.

You compliment a friend on their moustache ...

... and she drops you off her Friends list forever.

Indeed, suing this slob diminishes Palin as you`ve suggested.

How so?

We’re here. It just gets increasingly tiring, not to mention aggravating, to keep repeating what we’ve already said a hundred times to no avail...because they keep repeating their BS ad infinitum to push our buttons. I am perfectly content to let them play because I know WE will have the last laugh. I can afford to be patient and let them knock themselves out.

I’d say Sarah Palin has earned enough money to afford her attorney and when she sues, she will have a lot more. No worries, mate. She’s good to go.

I volunteer to continue being your friend. I know it’s a hard job and I don’t have a moustache, but someone has to do it. Might as well be me.

Good point and I agree with it. This is not just another election.

These terms like “unelectable” and “damaged goods” are right out of the Saul Alinsky playbook.

Palin’s law firm is serving notice to Random House that they want to see the emails between McGinness and Random House to see if their is anything actionable.

Actually, what they are saying is there may be a lawsuit and as such it would be illegal for them to destroy any evidence. You can't just go fishing in a companies records absent a specific legal claim and ensuing discovery.
