Sgt. First Class Kristoffer B. Domeij, 29 years of age, was killed just yesterday in Afghanistan on his 14th overseas deployment.

That's a rare name ~ Swedish ~ from the Sapma.

www.familysearch.org shows a bunch of 'em coming to America in the mid to late 1800s with a large cohort from Scandinavia ~ escaping intense privation and famines.

14 overseas deployments is unusual for someone so young. He reminds me a lot of the Vassa King.
