My gut feeling is that it more likely came from the Romney campaign.

It was leaked by Romney.

But Cain has not helped himself. He knew about this for 10 days prior to it coming out. Then he fumbled over and over.

But Perry had nothing to do with this...

It was All Romney. (And Yes - the Palin attacks and yes - the Perry attacks too)

Cain should have known this was coming and now he has lied and tried to cover it up. He doesn’t know which one it is (women) when they ask questions of him.
