The problem with ignoring trolls is the lurkers. They’ll follow a thread until it generates crickets. And if the last one on that sub-thread was a seagull, by virtue of default they will consider that argument settled. But it ain’t so.
Yes, I see your points. You as thread author have a certain responsibility to “moderate” the thread. WHile I might proceed somewhat differently, I shall leave it in your good hands.
