If there were no charges against Cain for sexual harrassment, then why was he investigated? There certainly were 2 women who came forward years ago and said he sexually harrassed them. They brought charges against Cain, and were paid off to keep quiet about it. Those are facts. That is my point. Cain knew these women said these things about him...reporting on it, isn’t lying. It is a fact that they charged him with this crime and did it years ago. It was not recently made up...except for Gloria Alred’s client.
When reporting on Sarah, the media made up falsehoods, that her baby was actually her daughter’s baby, that she was having an affair with several people; that her husband was having an affair, that she fired someone in retaliation...all bald faced lies—made up from thin air. Big difference.
Those are NOT the facts. These 2 women made accusations. The accusations were INVESTIGATED AND FOUND TO BE WITHOUT MERIT. Do you understand that? There was NO sexual harassment. Do you understand what that means? HE WAS FOUND TO BE NOT GUILTY. THEIR lawyers were privy to the investigations. IF there was sexual harassment a lawyer would do more than negotiate a severance package. At the very least there would have been a filing with the EEOC. There wasn’t.
They have now been cleared (by the NRA) to freely talk about what he supposedly did but they haven’t. This isn’t rape (the woman that came out and said she wouldn’t talk about it unless the other woman came forward as well so he could be “tried in the court of public opinion). It was a gesture. A GESTURE! Even she doesn’t deny that. Being that it’s minor why not talk about it? Why has no one asked HER why she made a similar claim at her next job?

No one “brought charges” against Cain - this was ONE COMPLAINT by Kraushaar filed with human resources at the NRA. It was investigated INTERNALLY by the company and found without merit. She goes on to do the same thing to her next employer.
We don’t even know for sure there WAS a second complaint by another woman at the NRA. No one has confirmed that at the NRA. So far everything confirms Cain’s side of the story.
By the way, it is not a “fact” that anyone was paid to keep quiet about anything. That is inuendo. The evidence to date points to a termination package.
