Show me the business model that accounts for the ever-increasing medical expenses of seniors while those same people are usually on a fixed income.

If you want to say ‘ef ‘em and throw them to their own devices, OK - but don’t expect to win any elections.

1. Replace Social Security with a privatized model for younger citizens while keeping the current level for retirees.
2. Remove ObamaCare or refuse any individual mandate.
3. Remove the regulation that is stifling the Medical Industry.
4. Make HealthCare plans portable across State Lines.

This would be a great start at fixing the problem.

More government is not the solution.

Less government is the answer.

Futhermore, remove the ability of Illegals to get anything but absolute Emergency healthcare services.

With that, you almost have a complete solution to the problem.

time nor space permits a full response. Milton Friedman, Mises, Hayek and many other great economists have explained at length how government is NEVER a solution.

If government NEVER became involved in heath care, there currently would not be a "crisis" of medical costs and delivery. There would certainly be superior medical care delivered in a more timely manner. It is all unknown because the governments destruction of health care did not allow advancements to come into existence.

Remember when we had "brick" cell phones? Imagine at that time that the government obtained essential control over the industry. There is no way we would have advanced to the smart phones, etc we have today. Government only impedes progress.

Education and Health care are two major areas that government is destroying. Imagine true freedom in education and health care -- the advances we have seen in cell phones and computers would have occurred in those industries (and others) Public schooling is still stuck in the 1880's model we adopted from the Germans; truly insane. Sorry for the rant.
