That was my first thought when the cretin opened his mouth and those hateful words spewed out.
I so agree. I am not a Santorum girl by any measure and I am hopping mad.
I’ve been a Rick Santorum supporter since attending his first fundraiser ‘Penn Staters for Santorum’ in December of ‘89 the night of the PSU Bowl Game victory over BYU; and I’ve *never* heard this story. Heart-wrenching and touching both at the same time. No one who heard Colmes cynical retelling of it could possibly be unaffected by the obvious pain of the man and his family. Shame on you Colmes, but thank you for showing a side of Santorum that few people know. Truly, his respect for life is real, and not some fake play for a voting block ala Romney.
