You have got to admit that it is interesting that those candidates who support ethanol subsidies got the vote from Iowans. I don’t blame the people there since it benefits them, but it is interesting nonetheless. The info on farm subsidies on Perry is interesting also. All of it needs to be in the mix so we can look at it, give it whatever weight we think it deserves, ask the candidates questions about it, get our answers and decide accordingly. In the spirit of transparency you know. I don’t see it as tearing down another candidate. If it is a fact, we should know about it.

The main problem post for me on this thread is 32, which is a Dem attack on Santorum from 2005-2006.

And we see with all of the candidates that they have issues with connections to government programs that dispense taxpayer funds to private parties - Perry included. To me it is counterproductive to attack the conservative candidates on these matters when we have Obama in the White House tearing up contract law and dishing millions and billions to his supporters and his pet agendas.

You are not gonna find a Boy Scout in this crowd. Let's figure out what is important and tell those slinging the campaign operative dirt to back off.
