Everyone knows that I’m no Obama fan, but it’s stories like these that makes conservatives look like jackasses. It’s a freakin’ Halloween party, what would one expect other than outlandish costumes?

Why we can’t stick to the facts, policies, and positions of candidates I have no idea. How pretty the first lady may or not be, how large her bottom is, what kind of bicycle the president rides, etc etc, are NOT legitimate criticisms.

What’s wrong with us here on FR that we can be on the precipice of socialized medicine, the president has publicly revealed a truly frightening plan to cut our defense budge and yet we talk about the relative unatractivness of the first lady and a freakin’ Halloween party?

If nothing else, let’s apply the glass house rule: If you’ve got a beer gut the size of Rocky Ford melon, maybe you shouldn’t criticize Obama’s physique. If your wife graduated from Frumpsville High, and has a degree in mom jeans, or worse gets her moo-moo straight from Omar, stick to criticizing policy instead. You’re credible when you attack policy, and just snicker worthy when you get petty.

I had to look up the Photo/story above, as did not come with a story and guessed it was a Party at the White House some time back; and I thought actor Depp was involved--this is all now because of a book. Plus, it was a party for families of the troops-2,000 kids. But they left that out..

After this story, I read some other stories now appearing on FR in "out of context" blog type posts to FR--wasn't difficult to find another out of context story--am now starting to question just about everything posted-no matter what side we are on.

Does anyone want to know more ??? Or do we hate someone, anyone so badly we don't want to know. Makes the Kardashians start to look normal.

How pretty the first lady may or not be, how large her bottom is,
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

You will never see me criticize Michele Obama’s shape...BUT..you will see me comment on her inappropriate clothing.

**It is inappropriate for the First Lady of the United States of America to wear a red cocktail dress to the award ceremony of the Medal of Honor of a dead hero.

** It is inappropriate for Michele Obama to wear a bright turquoise coat with her dress hanging 6 inches below the hem of the back of the coat. This is the color she chose to honor the dead at an Arlington Cemetery Veteran's Day ceremony.

** It is inappropriate to wear sweaters and slacks that are far too tight and show bra and pantie lines, and gap at the pockets, and have wrinkles around the thighs.

** It is inappropriate for the First Lady to be wearing a mini-skirt on any occasion ( even Halloween).

** it is inappropriate to be out in public and walking the dog with a bra strap hanging out of a too-tight sleeveless shirt.

** It is inappropriate to wear a skirt with a slit up the back that is sooooooo high that if she leaned over 2 inches that her underwear would show.

This woman is America's representative. A common neighborhood seamstress or tailor anywhere near the White House could help her with **all** of the above. There is no reason for her to be wearing ill-fitting clothing. She has access to world's most informed etiquette and fashion advisers. There is no reason to do what she does except out of utter ignorance, or perhaps she is deliberately poking her thumb in the eye of those who hold traditional values.

One issue is that he threw these huge parties on our dime while telling us that "...you can't eat whatever you want and turn up your thermostat and expect the rest of the world to go along with it..."

Another issue is that the presstitutes covered it up for him. Johnny Depp was at the party. Isn't this something you'd expect to see reported by the eneMedia?

Shouldn't we call the Joker and his lapdogs on these behaviors?

By the way, if you have to start your post with "Everyone knows that I’m no Obama fan..." you might do a little self examination. Just sayin'.

OK the facts.

This Marxist putz spends a ton of money on this crap while he’s deliberately tanking the country’s economy. You think the media would cover this up if Bush and Laura were hiding all the expensive parties if the country was going to hell like it is under Obama’s tenure?

The problem I have with the throwing parties and stuff is that this jackass was telling us to tone down our lifestyle.. If he said nothing than the parties at the White House won’t bother me..

Thank you, once again, for being a voice of sanity on FR. If anything, the photos of this party make the Obamas look far more normal and mainstream than their policy positions would suggest. Attacking the things they don't do wrong invalidates the whole conservative argument against them, in the eyes of many neutral observers.

I agree. Too much effort is made by some to freak out over every little thing when there is plenty to legitimately freak out over. Yes, there is a place for “XYZ is inappropriate for WH occupants” ... that’s different from gratuitous “Chewbacca!” comments. That the pair may be too “normal” in many ways may indeed be inappropriate considering their station; beware however making comments which are best directed at a mirror.
