Good one CW!!
Keep it going, Perry.
No, none of those. Non union. I work for a living too, as well as that other stuff. Unfortunately Rick fumbled the ball and I don’t see him getting it back before SC and Florida. He’ll get some conservavtive votes but that’s about it.
Everyone says this But It remains nonsense.
Romeny is helped by the 20 to 25% of ignoramuses who vote for him.
Woo hoo! Is he up to 6% yet?
While in the House, please tell us what Newt promised to do that he didn't do. Have you forgotten the Contract with America?
See post #9 this thread. He's not doing this for *political* payoff, but to avoid having to sleep in the garage for the next umpteen years.
Cheers!
Cheers!
Yeah. But it's not safe to put a fork in him while he's still in the toaster.
Cheers!
“Romeny is helped by the 20 to 25% of ignoramuses who vote for him.”
And, of course, Romney is also helped by conservatives staying the primaries when they have no chance.
For example, if either Perry or Bachman had quit before Iowa, we’d be looking at a CLEAR Santorum victory, rather than a Romney victory. Now, I don’t blame either of them for staying through Iowa, but it’s starting to get old now. If Perry can’t win in South Carolina, of all places, he simply has NO BUSINESS still running - unless he’s got some kind of deal set up with Romney - it’s the only thing that makes sense if Perry goes to Florida, after winning less than 10% of the SC vote.
Perry's the loser; you're currently acting like the sorehead.
<snip>
You wont be missed.
Neither will Perry.
Cheers!
How does voting for someone else other than Mitt Romney help Mitt Romney?
it sucks when your candidate sucks, doesn’t it? Don’t worry, it will all be over soon enough and we’ll all forget about Rick Perry. I just hope you didn’t send him too much money or you’re gonna be bitter for a long time.
Frankly, I am less than excited about a Santorum victory.
As far as I am concerned he is little better than Romeny, and in fact it has been reported from the evangelical summit that they voted for Santorum to keep him in the race as a wingman for Romney and as a trump card to leverage Romney to offer the YP slot to Santorum.
Talk about cynicism.
Currently, Romney is getting about 25% of the Republican vote in the primaries and in most of the polls. That means 75% of Republicans are voting for Not-Romney.
If the rest of the vote is divided more or less evenly between Newt, Santorum, Perry and Ron Paul then the those candidate will end up with less than 20% and will lose to Romney.
If Perry drops out then some, but not all, of those votes will go to other mostly non-Romney candidates. If this doesn't happen then the liberal Romney will be the one to represent the mostly conservative Republican party in November.
I assume that you are also calling for the zero traction Jon Huntsman to drop out. Can you confirm?
Or is it just Rick Perry you are worried about?
I’m glad he plans to stay in the race at least for Florida. Florida has a closed primary which should give us some good numbers. I fear SC open primary will be tainted by dems.
Accepting your argument, then if Rick Santorum drops out there will be even MORE votes to apportion among the remaining conservatives, dealing Romney an even more pronounced defeat.
So, will you add Santorum to your call to drop out?
Or, alternatively, Gingrich?
At least I didn’t send Cain $9.99 or $99.99.
It’s not acting like a sorehead to confront someone who attacks CW for posting threads of interest to Perry supporters and who then comes on those threads and complains about her posting them.
How dumb is that?
And you should see me if I really get upset.
